Nick (RogueStatus37) brought up the question for what I've done in terms of weight reduction. Last time I checked, together it was around 350lb..but that's just a rough estimate. Everything I can put together in my head as of now...
Vorsteiner Hood (no hood shocks) OEM CSL Trunk (no tool kit) Mini Cooper Battery (same used in the CSL) Full size spare tire replaced with donut Recaro Pole Position Seats Removed Rear Seats Headers (no cats) Full Catback Front BMW Performance Rotors Apex Wheels Vorsteiner Hood that needs to be painted badly ![]() ![]() ![]() OEM Csl Trunk I recently picked up for an awesome price! ![]() ![]() ![]() Donut Tire/Mini Battery ![]() ![]() Beautiful Red Leather/Suede Seats ![]() ![]() Back Seat area which I'm gonna cover with some Suede soon ![]() Front BMW Perf. Rotors are 3lbs lighter each, this is a plus for rotational mass ![]() You can tell the difference between the Floating design vs normal ![]() And the awesome Apex Arc-8's, I cant wait to throw them back on in the spring! Just do it ![]()

Nice job on the weigh reduction. I'm really wanting to find a CSL trunk and OEM M3 hood to shave off a few lbs... and a CF roof, but that's down the line.

Technik Headers are off the car
Everything went as planned yesterday. Me and a good friend I work with spent a couple hours getting the headers out. I spoke with a rep at Swain Coatings and she told me it would be a 2-3 week process for the coating...this does not including shipping However, the good news is that they're located in NY, so shipping there and back shouldn't take too long. I've still gotta decide a color (I'm leaning toward black) and they'll be on their way tomorrow.A couple pics from yesterday: ![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm...cams... ![]() And they're out! ![]() ![]() The half azz header wrap job ![]() Me pushing the car away where it'll hibernate for a few weeks...

That is a half assed wrapping job. Those headers look really beefy though, it's surprising they don't make a measurable difference in power between Super Sprint replicas.

I'd speculate that while both sets of headers flow better than stock, once you've added either set of headers the flow restriction quickly becomes the head itself.
