Yeah, there's a problem. You're missing some power.
Can you email me the runfile? I want to overlay. Whoever has it, PM me. I'll give you my email address. Quote:

You're definitely missing some power. This is us compared before I had my new exhaust on (So, same exhaust, same headers, same cams.. but this was also with my DIY intake and my TB that "lost" power, Shark Injector, Evosport pulleys).

I screwed up and can't post

What's with the DISA change over? Is that changed when the car is tuned? It will be interesting to see how SHARK vs AA handles it.

My bad I just saw your post about sending you the runfile. I'm guessing nick already did that (my comp at home is broken).
I worked on the car all last night because I realized that both pre cat sensors were on the same header...don't ask lol. I switched everything last night and drove 25 miles with no problem. I don't have cams yet, but when I was on the dyno it wasn't close to running right. I'll try and go this Friday so w'e can get an accurate comparison

I've been told that it CAN be changed. Adam and Asbjorn discussed it. I think you can work the vanos to get it smoothed out.

Ahhh, I'll do one before cams, then... I thought you aleady had them in. At least you can see what you have to look forward to.
This was before my cams... so, you're still missing some power ![]() ![]() Quote:

I wonder if you can remove the disa, or make the valve stay open all the time

It's been tested. You lose a lot of low end for no gains up top.

Since Brady got good numbers on the intake I might just skip the before dyno and get an after dyno once
it's in...no need to waste another $80.

Here's some pics
Got the summer tires back on and received the AEM filter + velocity stack. I'm REALLY impressed with AEM's quality. Btw this is a dryflow filter Now I gotta find some time to install this thing.![]() ![]() Yea, that's a pineapple. ![]() Comparing Dinan filter vs AEM ![]() Time for breakfast! ![]()

Looks good. I want to see how it fits. Not a lot of room in there!

Do you think it's necessary to get one of those pre filter wraps?

It's safer. However, if you drive that car into deep enough water it won't matter what you have over the filter. A wet filter is nothing to worry about, unless it's completely emerged in water. I hope that filter fits. I was talking to K&N about making on for that same velocity stack but I backed out.

The benefit is that it keeps the filter a bit cleaner, but I cant see it NOT affecting airflow.

Maybe you'll get more room with the Mtech bumper, but the stock bumper is tight for the Dinan filter.
