How much research have you done before you dive into this? Even if you aren't going to install the stuff yourself, there is a lot more to it than just slapping on a new set of springs and shocks.

So i just installed all my springs but one lol looks retarded. I cant get my sway bar end link off my passenger strut and honestly idk how i got it off the other one. So on mine theres a nut on one side and a white cap thing on the other. In between theres nothing to get a wrench on or anything and it just spins. Any suggestions???

You asked where to buy. I recommend you go read the Xi suspension poll thread and make your choice from there.

When you replace the suspension stuff, make sure you buy new upper mounts (all four), all new hardware, and new lower front spring bushings.

There's a T27 or T25 torx (mine was a T27) screw in the center of the nut. You need to get a driver or socket on that to hold it in place and then use a wrench to turn the nut on the outside. Don't strip the inner torx head.

The way I do it is to wedge the wrench in there and turn the torx to pull the nut off. It will be reverse though so tighten the torx to loosen the nut.

Looks good also possible to have a more moderate drop of course and not have issues mine isn't very low but has improved performance and after 800 miles I can't foresee any issue.

I want to this to my xi first of all because its handling really sucks, when I take a curb instead of taking it easy it tends to go straight. Body roll its other of my issues, I feel like I'm driving my mom's minivan. I'm doing a lot of research just to make its handling close or better when it comes out of the assembly line.

and you'll likely continue to be unsatisfied and constantly jumping to the next setup like I did. honestly I feel a lot of the XI components were rushed through the market. the best suspension I had was a DINAN setup, it took them a few years to push the XI components out and I can see why. They were thoroughly R&D and tested.

Sounds like your control arms are bad. Have you checked the ball joints?
Powerflex front & rear bushings will give you a tighter feel over stock.

Yes I'm aware I'm going to need to replace all my bushings, my car it's originally from Chicago and all that salt deteriorate all the bushings and bottom of my car. I think control arms are ok but for piece of mind, which ones should I get over stock?

There aren't any non-OEM control arms for the Xi. BMW is your one and only choice.

It seems like those who lower their xi never come across any problems, whilst others who haven't say it'll be catastrophic.

I've only changed out my axles once when I had that car. I think there was a thread about adjusting the CV boot a bit to prevent it from ripping. I've never done it but he said it works for him....

stretch the boot out a litte, run OEM or GKN. ZERO PROBLEMS here, low enough for the boots to even brush the frame on hard dips. I still want some RAXLES tho
