Thanks guys! Agreed

Needless to say when you start modding your car to the levels of many of the HPF owners you shoot way up there close to 100k by the time its said and done.. and thats not financed over 5 years .. most of that is hard earned cash.. so to be able to finance an HPF car for 5 years and get one with that low of miles.. and that many mods.. thats a no brainer.

Someone's going to win the lottery on that one.. btw was that a 2.5 or 2.0 that went for a fire sale.. either way I'm pretty sure it was the bay area one that was beaten on all the time in videos, had high mileage and almost no exterior mods/wheels/etc.. pretty much stock with over 100k miles. The dude seemed very desperate to sell it too.. don't use that as the benchmark for pricing on these cars.

Lawrence: Stick to your guns, you'll sell it for that price. Might take a while but it will go. I had a motorcycle that I had bought, put a TON of mods on it (only the best of the best mods..) and only rode it for 56 miles then decided I didn't like it. I put it on the forums had low ball offers for days, people insulted my price, etc.. then finally 8 months later a dude emailed me and said I priced that same bike out to do it myself and that was my original plan and your bike is like 35% off of that cost.. this is a no brainer. Dude flew in from Hawaii and bought it the next day and shipped it via container home.
Thanks Brother

Thats one hell of a deal. I paid 28k for mine with 45k miles, also a 2003. But it was Laguna Seca Blue w/Black/Alum. interior and a 6MT. So I paid a bit of a premium, that and the Inspection II was completed less than 1k miles before I bought the car.

This was late last summer.. 16k for a 28k miles is not even remotely close to 'going rate'.

Cars are worth what people are willing to pay, and if lawernce is willing to sit on this one for a while I'm pretty confident he can get what he's looking for. There are a few cars at HPF right now getting Stage 3's (including mine) that spent almost that same amount.. someone on the fence about going Stage 3 will be smart and sell their M3 and get this one. It makes a ton of sense really.

Btw your sig is hillarious

****ing LOL $70k for a 9 year old luxury car. You'll be lucky if you get 2/3rds of that.

No, it's not. A 15k mile 2002 M3 will sell for $25-30k tops, depending on if it's private party or retail. Money you spent on mods is worth pennies on the dollar. A fair price for this car is probably between 30 and 40k, but who the hell wants to spend 40k on a modded, 9 year old car regardless of how many miles it has?. Much rather have a e92 M3.
