Not for Rasp Haters (another mod thread)

Hi everyone.

I've just completed a new exhaust setup which consisted of a resonator delete and a 320ci rear box! Special thanks to Johnny (Johnca) for helping me out with parts, he's a true fanatic!

Initially I was very sceptical about the outcome of this mod and after talking to a few fanatics I was fearing that it would sound loud and sh*tty. I went ahead with it anyway just for kicks and the result was a very raspy exhaust note that is slightly louder than stock. At lower rpms the exhaust gives a nice deep yet smooth note. At about 3-4k rpm a large amount of rasp is let out. Between 4-6k (redline) the exhaust note changes again with a return to an almost stock sound with a hint of rasp.

My exhaust in the video might seem quite loud but this is most likely due to my garage acting like a megaphone. I understand rasp isn't for everyone so please leave any unkind comments unsaid. Enjoy

The exhaust is OEM. It's a 320ci rear muffler box with a resonator delete. The tips are ACS

Sounds great, can't argue with the cost effectiveness either. Any drone with the res. delete?
Props to Johnny for helping another fanatic out.

I might do one tomorrow or whenever johnny is free. Would prefer to have someone panning the camera as I drive past.

Hi

That sounds fantastic, so in dollar terms how much did this cost, since i wouldn't mind doing this to my 318i?
