B&M short shifter?

we all know there aren't a lot of SSK options for xi's. Anyone try one of these? I was gonna go with UUC because they make one specifically for our cars, but its freakin expensive for a shifter! Was looking at the BMW Performance SSK, but it doesn't look like it will work on an xi.

B&M Make great shifters, however I personally have been using UUC products since 2002. Long before I worked for ECS I run them in all my own personal cars. They really are worth the money!

I know UUC probably makes the best SSK kit on the market (apparently Rogue is pretty good too), but is it really worth paying almost double the price over the B&M? Just interested in some shorter throws and something that won't break down in a couple years. Also trying to justify paying the significantly steeper price of the UUC. I have to replace my clutch so that's the first priority.

Anyone ever have any problems with B&M shifters?

Do we know if the B&M actually fits an xi?

ECS is notorious for listing parts for our cars that don't fit an xi. I wouldn't pull the trigger until you find somebody who installed it in an xi already. If you can't find anybody, I'd probably order the UUC setup too, just in case the B&M doesn't fit- it wouldn't be fun to have to drop the tranny twice.
