328i vs. 330ci muffler

Would a 328i sport muffler without the butterfly valve sound any different than a 330ci sport muffler with the gold tee mod?

330 is a true dual exhaust while the 328 is mostly single I thought

I put a zhp exhaust on and it sounds very different than my stock 325 exhaust.

The 328 muffler wont bolt directly on. As the 330 mufler is dual piping all the way from the headers. The 328 merges into one after the first muffler under there. If im not mistaken.

My Ride: Shhh
A y-pipe would just be an adapter to weld the pipes together. And the 328i sounded almost the same as my friends zhp. Idk I could be mistaken but but it was a fairly similar sound.
