I have a smg wheel and the slip/clock ring. I wish these pictures worked! I've been looking around for a couple of days for the pictures... I'm so afraid to make this harness... I've been checking you tube is there a video?

I have already installed an M Sport/ZHP steering wheel to my car.

Is this retrofit simply a matter of changing to a SMG Clock Spring, installing SMG Paddles and making the wiring harness to enable the paddles to work?

Or do I need an M3 SMG Wheel specifically?

Anyone help with my question above??

What does the reverse side of an SMG wheel look like? Do I need to drill holes to fit the paddles to my M Sport/ZHP steering wheel? Or am I overthinking things?

You actually need an SMG steering wheel that has the paddles installed. You can't technically retrofit them to a steering wheel that doesn't have them.

Actually I'm working on this. I like the sport steering wheel so I'd like to fit the paddles on it. I have everything I need but the time to work on it. I'll try to keep you all updated on it when I get time to work on it.

Definitely waiting for this update. I don't have the cash to drop on a M3 wheel.
