2002 330xi question

hi, i wanted to ask, i know that some AWD cars has the option to either put there car in AWD or 2WD from a push of a button. So the question i have is if a 2002 300xi have that option? and do AWD models tend to use more gas then a regular 2WD? Thanks

remove/replace front suspension,subframe,oil pan,oil pump pick up, control arms, spindles, sways, front diff, front axles, transmission, front drive shaft, rear drive shaft, transfer case, shift linkage, steering rack, steer rack hoses, motor mounts. unplugged abs brain so dsc doesn't kick in at 65... and lock up the rears. remove front wheel speed sensors. no traction control no abs done
