Thanks guys. I am ok. I just got bruised up damn good. Hurt like hell for a few days. Currently the mods are still on the car. Still trying to get everything sorted out with the insurance company.

Glad you're alright. Cars can be replaced.

I hate to sound like a vulture, but if you want to sell the Turbo kit, PM me

That almost happened to me last week, lady did the same thing but just as I was pulling out I heard her lock them up and I locked mine up and she actually stopped in time. In a Yaris .. I was quite impressed at how fast that little car stopped. Closest I've ever been to being in a serious accident in like 12 years.

Those are awesome results.

However there seems to be a couple of questions from an engineering standpoint. If a M3 makes 300 hp and they have different stronger cranks and rods, yet on Google there are accounts of bottom end failure with no modifications. And since a stock 325 is only 184 hp from the factory. Engineers don't make cranks and rods to handle the exact hp they're rated at, they usually engineer over the initial hp and torque for reliability sake however much they are ok'd to do so.

It seems then that 274 hp could be dangerously close to the limits of the rods if not the crank on a M54B25.

Does anyone have any knowledge if the stock 325 crank and rods have been used in GT class racing? And how much horsepower they can take?

Anyone have any knowledge of how many miles this kit has been driven on a
M54B25?

My Ride: .
m3 failures were related to bearing choice/tolerances, its high rpm redline, & aggravated by people revving up on cold engines. A recall addressed the aforementioned so current s54s are pretty well bulletproof
