Correction to first post

Updated info:

First 15 trunks should be available in 2 months. You can get on a waiting list if you email David@horsepowerfreaks.com . HPF would rather not take deposits in case the timeframe gets pushed back. So if you really want one, contact David and let him know.

Pictures and a price make people interested. Now that we have some, you can see the interest level has gone up..

That was my point..

You are correct, as soon as i had time i posted all the pics i had. When i get more ill post them as well as soon as i get a chance. Im sorry but i dont have the price. Id speculate that it would be comparable to the VSCL trunk though.

It's all good. You have some good pics up now so the discussion can now really begin. I think it looks pretty good myself.

Wasnt trying to ride you. Just without pics of a new design, I doubt the commitment needed would be reached or that anyone would consider laying down a good sum of cash based upon a thought or speculation.

yes it would be difficult to try to get people to pay for a deposit, expecially if the deadline set for release date gets pushed back, then you get unhappy customers. So thats why their compiling a waiting list for guys that are committed to buying one (only pay for one when its ready to be shipped). Any other questions are welcome, im currently working on aquiring more pics, and what type of material the hood is made of (Single sided CF, Double sided CF etc).

This is the Asuka trunk for the convertible. When they first came out they made the Asuka trunk only for the Coupe. Im not sure if the coupe version is still availible.

price is $1300 for SS CF, follow the link in the OP for pictures and updates.

Blowing out their last products. I went to dinner with the owners of Asuka last month. They are coming back this fall as a company called "the 6th element".

but 1300 is a bit much for me in the show department.
I'll definitely consider this when I'm pushing M3 figures though.
