You should cut your load bars flush with the mounts on that roof rack. I did it on my S60 and it cleaned it up alot.

Thanks guys. I am currently getting the car ready for sale. Looking for an e28 next. I want a white exterior with the red interior. Hopefully in a 528e.

White wheels were sold to a local bmw friend, he recently purchased a 325i and has plans to put them on that.

That idea seems like it would work out nice, roof rack is off the car. Maybe I will keep that idea for my future e28.

You ever thought of putting a pair of panty hose overtop of your air filter, it will keep little debri from getting stuck in the folds of the filter element.

May I ask where you bought the transmission from and how much you spent? I am thinking about the doing the same project. I heard that changing from auto to manual changes how well your engine performs or something like that... I havent seen any evidence to support this. Has anyone heard of auto --> manual swaps having "consequences?"

No, but I've been meaning to get a pre filter. Since I don't move the filter even if it rains.

Got it from a local for 150$ or something like that. But that was a deal. A manual gives you more control of the engine. If you're not mechanical to the point where you haven't changed clutches, transmissions, motors on other cars, I wouldn't try it. I've done it twice. Second time took about 35-40 hours work time, which I thought was really good for doing it by myself. Also you have to learn how to do the programing for a manual, or have someone do it for you.

word, and on that rear lower arm, what did you have going on that it cracked out like that? Right height adjusters and no spring pad?

Have you seen the Rogue reinforcement piece that slides over top?

Hit a hard bump one time, then my continuous country road driving killed it.
