CVV/oil separator hose

One of the biggest challenges in doing this fix is getting the outlet hose to the intake manifold back on. I read in one post a guy spending 2 hours trying and I can see why. I learned a trick that saved my sanity. Just a little back ground this is the only hose to the oil separator with a different fitment. You have to align it just right to push in then rotate it to lock it in place. You can't orientate the separator to do this, you have to orientate the hose to make it work like a charm. Install the outlet hose in its proper place and at this time it will be vertical, the trick is to let the top section of the hose to drop in so it orientates horizontal and once you do this you can press it into the separator and then rotate the hose vertical so it locks into place. Worked like a charm, oh and I use white lithium grease to ease the process. Hope this helps.

man I wish I would have seen that before bleeding my knuckles and throwin a few f bombs, one good thing is I walked away and went to the movies, picked it up the next day and bam had it figured out!
