Will the tire size 235/55/18 fit on an e46 sedan? On a wheel that has a et 40?

Can anyone confirm if this setup on
All four tires will fit a stock e46 facelifted sedan.

NO.....that size is for suvs and sport trucks
diameter is 3" or so larger than stock size

the size that might work would be a 255/35/18, but there is way more info needed to say if it will or won't work, wheel width, susp, etc.

Stock 330i with no spring adjustments. Height and
Suspension is still stock. Everything is pretty much stock.
The wheels are 18x8 I believe with et40.

Stock size on 18 x 8 is 225 40 18, so that's the standard for 8" wide

i am lowered on hotchkis race springs like 1.75" drop

I have 18x8 et38 and 225/40/18, will I have any issues in terms of rubbing?

I run 18x8.5 et35 with 225/40R18 and have no problems. So you'll be just fine.
