This thread reminded me to ask:
I have a favor to ask of two people - Can someone who has the M3 or non-CF perormance strut bar measure the clearance between the bar and the engine? Then can someone else with the OEM CF bar measure the clearance as well? I'm trying to figure out whether or not the CF bar can clear the m3 fuel rail

I have my own car detailing service. I have pressure washed all engines from Merc's, BMW's, Audi's never a problem.

Yeah lol theres absolutely nothing wrong with washing new engines, on some OLDER engines you can have problems (I washed the bay of an old ... think it was an oxford like the below fella and got water in the distributor, didn't like it much.)

I love the sound it makes ... that fact alone is worth the money not the performance. Performance i think it does make just a bit more power but since i can't put a CAI tube it draws air inside the engine bay as opposed to the factory box due to space restriction. Only during night time or when it's evening do you feel the performance increase. During hot days car feels sluggish honestly.

Yeah, performance wise, I had the exact same thing, couldn't fit the pipe in so I had to leave it off, and the car become more sluggish, so I removed it. Hated the noise combined with my new exhaust love the exhaust sound by itself, but I'm getting this dude to make me a full custom Stainless CAI, from the manifold down to the intake, with the CDA box integrated, I'm going to make a thread about it in the next few weeks listing my ideas.

It won't be for a good bit just yet, it's not gonna be a cheap system cuz it's gonna be fully insulated and everything, but after it's all done, should be worth it, and I'll post everything here for you guys
