Dinan suspension
Are the Dinan suspension stages worth it? Are you paying for the name? Can I get the same performance from another brand for less money

from what I understand, dinan uses koni shocks and rebranded H&R springs in their systems...the springs though are tuned differently from the ones you'd get from an H&R vendor.

From what i heard and i have stage three dinan suspension and i love it... is that dinan uses koni shocks... but they are revalved by koni for dinan based on dinan's required specifications... dinan has an in house shock dynometer.... there is a sticker on the strut/shock body saying that these are adjusted to dinan's recommended specifications... um as far as springs i once heard steve dinan say that they make their own springs... but what you guys miss here is that they go into details when they are doing the suspension... they even tune bump stops... bumpstops act like a secondary spring... so as you drive faster it changes the way the drives... dinan will even go as far as to specify an alignment... everyday i'm amazed at how well the car handles yet... at the same time its soo smooth... on smooth roads its way smoother than stock... on rougher roads its a little less smooth but only minorly rougher than stock.... dinan also recommends tire pressures to run as well... really well designed.... everything is done for a reason... and highly recommended though... no doubt it is pretty expensive.... i love it...
