You made a good choice. The 1 is fun,but it is lacking the high end craftsmanship of the 3. The only reason I sold my 330Ci was more power. I didn't like the look of the 335, but I liked the look of the 1 and it's power. I couldn't find an M3 in the color I was looking for.

Except Maximus, when I first saw that pic of your 135 I seriously thought it was out of a magazine, since all the C&D and R&T pics are of a clean, nice, red 135i... yours looks so clean, and I love those rims. I had considered looking into owning a 1 series, but need the awd where I live... turns out Denver can plow, our town, not so much.

That is a huge compliment. I really appreciate it. Since my wife and I both have rear wheel drive cars, we decided to buy a used jeep wrangler for our winter vehicle. With that said, the wife still insists driving her car with snow tires ( unless there is over a foot of snow)

That's impressive. I've got a Subaru Outback and a Toyota Land Cruiser that are mostly driven. The BMW only comes out on warm sunny days.

What's odd though, my previous vehicle was a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT 4x4, then got the 325xi and it does BETTER in the snow than my SUV.... isn't it ironic? Dontcha think?

Really! I'm shocked. My 330Ci in snow with snow tires was terrible. (RRD) I was expecting it to be alot better. I now know Blizzaks is the only way to go with snow tires. The wifes G37 with all season tires wouldn't go in 3 inches of snow. Blazzaks turned it into a mountain goat.

Oh I've heard nothing but good about Blizzax, but I've got all seasons on my car now and drove thru that terrible winter storm last march on the east coast and she performed like a champ, no issues. I guess the Bavarian AWD is that awesome.

Yeah I ended up buying a little celica for $500 and calling it good. My little brother just bought a Xi so I'm glad to hear they do so well in the snow.

I've got Blizzaks on the Outback and MTs on the Land Cruiser. I'll choose the Outback any day in snow.

Looking forward to it! Did Ryan get back to you?
Still searching guys, I'll let you know when I find them Adam.

Even though I sold the Bimmer I'd come meet up if I could but I work weekends.

Gents, why don't you all give opening day at Bandimere a thought? We have quite a few BMW's heading up form e90post.

Would be awesome to see some of you out there. I know the stop light grand prix isn't really the BMW world, but it's a lot of fun. FYI

Are you guys running all day? I need to check with the boss (wife) and see if she has any plans after 12:00. I might go out for awhile after our breakfast.
