I'm thinking of re-dyeing Kiwi leather to a deep deep deeeeeeeeep oxblood red on an Oxford Green M3 convertible. Now I know it's possible

Only questions I have are:
  1. how much wear and tear can the re-colour handle? Daily driving?
  2. here in New Zealand we have a whacking great big hole in our ozone layer - has your recolour proven that it can handle intense sunlight and heat?
