Absolutely beautiful

Did you paint your shift knob black? I have the same one but I wish the silver part was black to match my trim

I've done it by myself, becouse i don't want to wait for my painter

And my self-painted windshield

1) massive sanding
2) grounding with plastic-ground
3) painting black matt first
4) wait ~ 45 minutes
5) paint black matt again, to complete the detailing
6) wait ~ 2 hours
7) grounding with 2000er sandpaper
8) paint black matt again
9) wait ~ 1 hour
10) end with clear coat in 2 steps
11) place the things in a oven @ 60C Degrees for 1 hour
12) polish with a good finish

The paddle-shifters are functional as well.

If you're sitting on the drivers-seat, the left paddle is able to push and pull:

pull: downshift (i.e.: From M3 -> M2)
push: upshift (i.e.: From M2 -> M3)

The right one does it contrary:

pull: upshift
push: downshift

Why? Becouse i want to drive only with the left hand, crusing and i'm able to shift with only "one paddle-shifter" ... and i think the paddles are nicer than the m3 ones...

Interesting: I've flashed the 330i ZHP-Tranny Software on my 330XI, getting more redline!

Before the tranny shifts @ 6500 RPM, now it shifts like a 330i ZHP @ 6800RPM =)

great looking car. I'm surprised to see an auto in europe and also kinda surpised by there being a secondary air pump...thought that emissions crap was added for the U.S...guess i was wrong. I really like the black rear defuser. also surpised by the english language on the M1 in germany.

sport button is very cool.

thumbs up....except for the wheels and auto (not a fan, sorry) yours might be the nicest XI i've seen.

Thanks for all comments I've done all this mods by myself and it's not as easy as it seems... to much electronic and hours spending in the BMW Wiring Diagram System...

What did you mean with ..."also surpised by the english language on the M1 in germany..." ?

EU4 secondary air pump is added from BMW at Germany in 2002. But our DME didn't check if the system is working. You can unplug the air-pump and the air-valve, without getting any OBD-Failure... there is no stored one or something.

Great looking German xi.... I didn't know that German models came equipped with a Secondary Air pump. I thought that it was there to satisfy North American laws.

Well done and "brilliant" as our UK friends say. We see and hear of "Euro spec." headlights but those are clearly different from any I've seen. I like the amber things happening there. I work with retrofitting and reverse engineering projects as my trade. You have demonstrated an impressive electrical assault for sure!

Now that it's done, complete, finished, ... no more. What are ya gonna do?
