My Ride: 2003 BMW 325i Sport
I think Jake's price is very fair for this car... the mileage is a little high, but on the other hand Jake has done pretty much anything that needs to be done to these cars. You can buy another BMW that is "cheaper" and on the first repair it needs, it won't be much "cheaper" anymore. My two cents

Appreciate the opinion Ecaicedo. It is pushing 100K miles and that can be a turn off, but as you mentioned, I have done a good bit of preventative maintenance leading up the the mileage it now has and it is ready for another 100K miles with a minimal amount of additional maintenance needed beyond the normal oil, tires, brakes, cooling system, etc.

Sorry, unless I end up just trading it in, the steering wheel will stay with the car.

Great looking car...just happened to notice this while browsing for a friend that is looking for a cheaper E46 coupe. As far as your price is concerned, it is MORE than fair. I just looked up the market prices for an '04 325Ci with this amount of miles thru the Manheim dealer auction site, and your price is almost exactly what these are selling for at the auction. The only ones that are selling cheaper are in below average condition and have more miles-yours definitely would be listed at least as in average condition and possibly above average.

Best of luck with your sale, and I hope this information helps in some way.

Thanks for posting that information Eric.

My asking price is indeed based on the price point at which I've found the dealerships to say is the balllpark trade-in value on the car (them using their auction source to get a feel for prices). Chatting with them, it seems $9,000-$9,500 is what I'd likely get out of it if I were to trade-in towards a new ride (with very little hassle on the negotiations).

My car is 'average' to 'slightly above average' condition. It has been used and isn't a garage queen by any means. It is a 7 year old BMW...I drive it and enjoy it like it should be, not stored away as if it were a rare collectible, so there are typical signs of said use. Definitely stays aways from the 'driven hard and put away wet' class though, so it is a good car for someone in the market.
