To buy or not to buy!

New here! Just registered! I have been followed the post from user dknightd about his purchased recently for 330ci vert religiously! I owned the following - 2000 740iL, 2002 S500, and 2002 X-type! Currently, looking at the 330ci vert: 2002 145k for $7.9k (standard) and one 2001 87k for $10k triple black (Nav plus sport package)! Wanted to seek memembers here for good advice!

Check both cars and run a vin check. There is a free site to do an auto vin check. Do a search on here and you will find it.

Try to get the lower mile vert if it checks out. Once you go topless, you don't come back!

black is a good choice if you like black
Have it checked out if possible. If not, check it out as best as you can.
Make sure everything works. Make sure it has the type of transmission you want - lots of people buy a car with
the wrong transmission for their tastes, then regret it. If you want an auto, buy an auto. If you want a manual,
buy a manual. If you are not sure, buy an manual imo.

I've had my car for about a month. I am still very happy I bought it. They are fun cars. Good luck

Was so busy lately. Anyway decided to purchase 2001 87k for $8.5 triple black (Nav plus sport package) couple weeks ago. This weekend will give her a good polish and wax for the body and clean/protect the top with Raggtop.

So far I really enjoy the heck out of this vehicle.

I bought my 2002 330cic (CPO) in 2005, absolutely love it, and doubt I'll ever sell that car (it's a part time driver, stays garaged when weather isn't nice). As all the other E46 vert guys have mentioned, they are awesome.

Welcome to the board, and happy vert cruising
