Vert Two-Tone Photos

I have had a few questions about the two tone project on my vert, so I thought I would post some pics.

Also, thrilled that we now have a vert thread!!!!!!!

I don't know if any of you use these Kuda telephone mounts.....but they are great and just slide into place so you can put them in or take them out whenever you want.

Everything looks good....except the black speaker grills on the lower door... I would have left the lower door grills beige. I know, I know... but it would still look better if you left the HK tweeters on the door black and those beige.... Still looks good though.... edit....and the speaker grills in the back may look better black so it all flows... and the seats are very nicely done...I like that...

What trim color is that? Looks like a high gloss black finish.

Originally, I left the grills beige/tan up front......but then swapped them to black. I think they look good either way, just allows me to change it up a bit.

Yes...it is a high gloss black. I had to piece the set together over time and I think it was a nice upgrade over the Myrtle Wood.

Looks great! Was the high gloss black trim a factory option or is it custom work?

It's factory. I have seen several sets for sale recently on Ebay.

I think the whole project is awesome. I was considering something like this because I think two-tone is a great way to go. Keep posting pics as you go along. The car looks fantastic!

I took a look, and all they have on ebay currently is the sedan trim. Keep checking, it will pop up....

Do the KUDA mounts work well with a manual?

I would think so. They actually don't interfere with the shift area (auto or manual). It just slides into the edge of the console and stays put.

great work...i love it....(except I would have kept front speakers tan, & rear black....but that's just me). could've even gone with console complete black, including phone mount. but that's my dumb-azz 2c/alternative ideas. great work...looks factory stock.

Here's mine in santa fe tan and dark graphite and carbon wrapped trim. It is like the opposite of yours.
