Added another Vert to the family

I picked up this 2005 325Cic last month, couldn't pass up the price. Has 90k miles on it, auto, Sparkling Graphite, Black int, Cold weather package, clean carfax, and 2 owner car. I bought it for my daughter, not sure if I can keep it hidden from her till her birthday in Aug. It's been in storage since I bought it last month. Anything I should be aware off on the 325cic?
My wife drives the 2006 330Cic and loves it, just took off the Hard top last week.
I just stumbled came across this thread and can't believe there isn't a sub forum for convertibles, seems like there is for just about ever other BMW ever made. Thanks for starting the thread Gheybe.
I just ordered a Isimple ISBM72 ipod inter face for the 330 anyone have one? Going to install it this weekend. I can always use help or info about it. I will post some pictures of the 330cic this weekend and of the install.
Raf66 nice car love the Red with the tan int.

Welcome to the forum.

About the sub forum.

I'm working on that as we speak to try and get something for us.

I'll let everyone know once I know anything about it.

Hey to Anyone with Leaking top cylinders, I just had a Klaus with Top Hydraulics rebuild my Bow tension cylinders.

http://www.tophydraulicsinc.com/index.html

Bought the car a few months ago, and noticed the passenger side was seeping, just a little bit. Got a great price in the meantime. But the Top and Headliner had to be removed But Klaus had wicked quick turnaround time. The Left side pops right out, go figure.....

His prices were very good. He has been doing Mercedes SLs for a while and is recent to BMWs. Top is operating leak free for me now!

More pics to come when I clean her next week!

Thanks zracat. I love the color combo too. By the way, having two teenagers myself, I applaud you for the purchase you just made for your daughter, though it makes me feel a little bad that all I gave my 16 year old daughter when she began to drive was my 2003 Nissan Altima that I bought brand new in the spring of '03. I loved that car...until I got my BMW and found out what all the fuss was about!

Hey all! This is a great place for ALL vert owners (if I'm interpreting "vert" properly). I picked up an '02 330Cic last Friday and have enjoying my beautiful Southern California weather.

A quick question from a new guy: anyone know what the part is (or where to buy it) that holds the rear passenger seat-belts in place when the top is down? One of mine is broken.

Thanks everyone and I hope to be able to offer information as I go along.

You might not like this, but one tool you will often use is www.RealOEM.com that has all your parts listed. The plastic clip is part of the entire middle seat insert:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...51&hg=52&fg=20

You would match interior color and fabric type. And it looks like about $300. Item 6. Don't know if the $75 "insert" (item 5) is just the foam, or would include the plastic clips.

Have fun.
