probably a good 15+ hours since i completely gutted the interior to dye the carpet and paint the dash along with other misc pieces. swapping the armrest trim was a ***** too.

It's not even funny how sexy that car is The seat color is so luxurious and exotic, I would love to install those. Extremely sexy overall and one of the best 'verts I've seen.

Post # 122 looks PHENOMENAL . Great background, Airdale1. I'd crop it a bit & get a photo place (?) to mount it on something....maybe something irregular (not a typical SQUARE matting )...then add a small (ebay?) BMW roundel on the matting mount. Think about it dude. That shot is wall material, dude. A friend of mine did that with his 60's Ford collector car, & he had the photo put onto an irregualar piece of dark-stained oak wood. - it's cool.

Same with your #139 post, Airdale1. Great job. You obviously took great care in making sure trees don't seem to "grow" out of the hood/trunk etc.

jboosts' post #125 also VERRRY nice. excellent late night lighting. 1 teeny criticism.....too bad for the pavement yellow lines in the shot. You have an excellent subject.

U guys have motivated me to stake out some places/angles to do a photo shoot this spring. (I'll have to get my brother to do the photos cause he catches little things that may distract from subject). Thx guys.

EDIT: I looked back & realized there are trees in your shot Airdale1, but they are not distractive but rather complimentary. I remember reading a Mustang Monthly magazine which gave tips on photo taking many years ago, & your shots made me think of such things. I just went thru all pages of this thread....some great shots. Can hardly wait for a spring shoot. I'm going to try to, with the help of my bro, to get my car in sort of "dealership-catalogue" quality-type shots....just for me & just for fun. Thx again for the motivation.

Thanks, not sure to be honest. Its 5th Anniversary edition VS8.2's. Don't know the specific shade of them though.

Updated before winter rolled around.

New to your forum... originally posted to General... appreciate your take on the process to follow for this stubborn Bavarian Beast....
Obtained son's 325 convertible while he is expanding his family.... Drove it out to Arizona from Boston... Nice... stored in garage in Arizona for two months with top down.... now attempted to raise top... unlocks the trim piece... windows lower halfway... light steady red... and top does not move out of the stowed position.... release button and red light flashes... hold stow button and the trim piece closes.... windows move up... red light extinguishes....
Sure there are lots of micro switches and relays to explore... Ughhhhhhhhhhhh......
