Has Anyone considered BULLRUN ?

I am sure everyone knows or has heard something about The Bullrun Rally on spikeTV (www.bullrun.com) but has anyone with an F/I BMW considered entering?

I have.

I will need a trusty co-driver with skills as sharp if not sharper than mine

I can't justify the $20k entry fee. I'd have to have money to burn to pay that.. I'm sure the experience is incredible but man.. $20k.. Now if I had a friend who was willing to put down $10k to split the entry fee I'd seriously consider it, probably not this year but next year.

thats funny because i used to say the same about the cost of a HPF kit and now 3 yrs later i have a stage 2.75 being installed in my M3 as i write and you all read this.

I am one of those guys that Loves that Bullrun type of shyt. so like you said, if i can find someone i know to put up half ($10k) then i know there just as serious and we drive the best All-around Competitive car we own!

theres a member on Bullrun selling the 3rd drivers seat for 5k but he has a mildly modified E92 M3 w/a fuel cell which is awesome but i still don't think his car is competitive enough w/485hp

I think me and my car will be Seriously Ready for 2012 or 2013!!!

I wonder if we can pick up a Sponsor to help offset some costs?

Unless i'm mistaken youre required to sport the bullrun sponsers stickers. Not sure if you can put your own on.

You maybe right but I am not sure about that. i will say it wouldn't surprise me though.

as long as i can have my own sponsor(s) in addition i would not mind.

I just feel a Top stage HPF / AA / ESS E46 M3 or Dinan/jb4 335xi would be a great representation of bimmer competitiveness in a mainly street enviroment like the Bullrun Rally.

I am seriously preparing for this either 2012 or 2013.... if they allow me to bring my own truck & trailer for tools and parts its all up to the drivers!

so wassup BMW_SSG , Blubayu, Sniperm, bmw_chuzo to name a few buddies.

can we save up about 15k in two years from now for this??

Has Anyone considered BULLRUN ?

I love Bullrun and all but, 20k is meant for down payments on houses. Not entry fees.
