Help for the new guy

Hey,
Just picked up an 04 330i M Performance pack for my first set of wheels. Couldn't peel me out of it all weekend. Things a beaut!

Just a couple things I cant figure out. It came with a 30 pin ipod connector in the glove compartment so it should be able to be visible on the display but I cant seem to figure out how to view the songs, titles, artists, playlists etc. or switch the song from whats playing to the next. When i try to switch the song it says CD 3-01 on the display and then will say CD 3-02 when i try to switch to the next song. Anyone else have this problem or know what the deal is with that?

Also, when I turn on the air fan in the car it starts to squeak, any suggestion on how to fix this?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Not sure about the ipod connection issue. But regarding the air fan do a search for along the lines of cricket chirp. I believe your fan needs to be replaced. I recall a posting stating that you can try to clean it but the noise will return in short order. Again, try to do a search. Good luck.
