Vert subwoofer extreme rattle

Has anybody fixed the rattle the subwoofer makes in the vert. this is with the stock HK system. I will upload a video later today. I couldn't find any fix. I know for nonverts there is the tennis ball mod. Anybody got any insight let me know.

Bumping this old thread. Mine started rattling bad today. Is there anything to keep the plastic around the woofer from rattling?

My Ride: used to be an auto
I completely removed my stock ski pass plastic crap. Took the sub out from the plastic. I built a square to screw into the ski pass holes and mounted it in the middle, kind like this: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=982492 but home made. Fixed the rattling and sub sounds stronger when pointing towards driver, not trunk. No longer have ski pass ability but it was worth it
