What do you mean by this? When many non-hunters use the term "killing for sport" they are often referring to the misconception that hunters go out and indiscriminately blast at animals and then leave them there to rot. That doesn't happen and that is illegal. Im not saying that is what you mean but Im just covering it in case that is what you meant.

I hunt upland birds, mostly pheasants, chucker, grouse, ect. Its really a good time, my favorite part is working with the dogs. Its a really satisfying feeling to be a part of every stage of your meal from shooting it to cleaning it and preparing it.

Just the ground squirrels and rats in my backyard, with a pellet rifle. boom, headshot.

oh yeah, avid bow hunter here, deer and turkey. Shotguns though for duck, which is my favorite hunt, very fun!

nah i don't mean just blasting away at anything
but it's not like i am hunting for my own survival
so it's a sport

I've slayed about 40 or so in the past month along with some magpies that do nothing but $hit all over my house. I picked up the Gamo Big Cat pellet rifle with scope. Thing shoots 1200 fps with one pump. And it has a rifled barrel so you can shoot the Crossman Destroyer hollowpoints

I shot one at about 20 feet out of a tree and it went through his chest and plugged into the house beside me

It is an excellent relatively silent varmint destroyer.

Mainly white-tail but on occasion, turkey, squirrel, coon, pheasant.

Done some frog giggin, other than that its standard poon hunting, oh and the occasional deer with the car.

Not directly after, but you absolutely eat the meat! I have my a huge section of my freezer full of deer sausage

Bears, wild boars and the occasional murloc. My imp helps a lot though.

Oh yeah... Never directly after the hunt... Meat would be hard like a tire. Like says my butcher, "meat" and "animal muscles" are not the same thing. It takes a few days for the dead animal muscles to become eatable meat.

In france hunters let the meat two days in wine. That's so great to eat after.
