Just tried installed Iheartradio, but it was a no go, it downloaded and installed fine, however when launching it hung. The loading bar got to about 3/4 of the way, it popped up and warned about data usage, hit ok... then nothing. Also I tried SiriusXM app today as well and that one go to the login in screen, but hung well verifying my credentials. Anyone else with any luck with either of these apps?? Oh, also these were on the old firmware, as no one seems to know what the "update" fixed. (Next FC problem I have will be when I upgrade, unless there is a reason too)

Can someone that has played with both the WinCE and Android Dynavin tell me which version they like better? I'm kind of undecided. I have played with the WinCE and it is fine and I like it but I'm thinking that the Android version has probably a better lifespam. I also don't really plan on using my unit tethered to wifi but it should work fine with offline GPS softwares (like copilot or other). Any thoughts?

Garmac, if you are not going to tether, get the d95 winCE unit and get primo from darkos's post on the other thread. It's a fantastic combo.

After reading a little more and seeing your posts, it looks like the Android version is maybe not ready for prime time for users that will not tether (I just dropped my unlimited data plan ). I do like the simplicity of WinCE and the Darkoz iGo primo is awsome . Thanks!

Jeff, will it be an easy plug and play replacement for existing v5 Users?

I mean will I be able to remove my v5 and just hook up the D95 to the existing cables, or are there some differences we need to be aware of?

Also, any updates on the next shipment? How do I get on the waiting list?

Thanks.

Yes, it is pretty much a take out the old, plug in the new, sort of deal. The plug arrangement is a little different so you would swap the harness as well, but the ipod cable, usbs, antennas etc... is the same so you could leave the existing stuff in there.

go to my website to fill out the contact form or send me an email to get on the contact list.

Was checking the GPS after the firmware update using GPS status today. Dynavin was displaying 8/9 sats locked, which corresponded to what my phone was reporting. I think the position uncertainty looks more realistic as well. I was using it to check my speed and it continues to confirm that my speedometer is about 3 mph high. In short, GPS looks good.

That's not my case; won't go beyond 4/9.
