turbo or super charge my e46 3301?

hey guys,

im thinking of giving my 2001 e46 330i a good boost of power, due to the fact that i live about 1500m above sea level (basically i live on a mountain where the air is much thicker) and i loose a sufficient amount of power,so now what would be more efficient, cheaper and less abusive on the engine between a turbo and a super charger on this amazing engine?

I've moved your thread over to the Forced Induction forum. You should be able to get more information here.

Less abusive and cheaper = SC
More cost with the benefit of having an absolute pressure (as superchargers are just calcualted to operate at a certain pressure at sea level) then turbo.

You may want to edit your post to THINNER air, not thicker.
Go turbo, especially being at altitude. It will be more expensive but much more rewarding.
