I had to go get the car fueled up when my dad offered to pay a tank of E85, driving there i recorded this video and found out what is causing the sound, now can you figure it out aswell ?

RPM is going to be wired in once i can get myself a correct pinout of the MS42, and engine temp idk really how to do unless i buy an adapter or plug it in on the "head to et" hose ?

Awe Yeah, the RPM gauge now working would freak me out LOL
Here is the WDS if you still need it.

Well i have a laptop beside me telling me the MAP,TP,RPM,ECT,IAT etc so im not that worried

The wds i causing me problems since it says Pin 22-23 is for the ECT , yet i have wires to those pins (i removed the pins for the ECT from the stock dme and plugged them to the link)

Anyways , im looking at that precision turbo i was talking about earlier..

6265 or 6262, or even a 6765 ?
Not sure if worth the money for BB..

Ebay turbo lifespan = 3days ^^

I'm sure you don't want to run around with a Laptop all the time connected so you need to figure this out.

Are you saying that removing pin 22-23 from DME and wiring them to the links standalone fixes your problem or you still have your same problem?

I'm not a turbo guru or anything but I'm buying the 6765 BB for my car. Although it's much bigger turbo I was told it would spool faster than the one I have now but I want know until I install it. Keep in mind my turbo setup is very different than yours. I'm running a precision turbo now.
What are your HP goals again?

Goals are 600 crank , anything more is just bonus

The stock DME sends engine coolant temp over the CAN bus , so it needs a sensor connected to pins 22 and 23 according to wds.

When i wired the link i pulled the wires out of the stock dme plugs and wired them to the link instead.(which means that if pin 22 and 23 would be ECT i shouldn't have any wires in that spot now, which i do)

With the GT35R im using now i've got spool at 2400rpm and full boost around 3k , wouldn't mind if i got +500rpm on that so im thinking either 6765 or 6265.. gotta see what my paycheck brings me..

The pins i should be using are 23/25 GND and 24 ECT + 22 IAT

Anyways , hardware comes before getting the cosmetic bugs (ill likely have some time to deal with it when waiting for a new turbo , or welding the subframe etc )

Which precision are you running ritos ?(i know about the RM setup you have, been awhile since i read the thread if the turbo is listed there )
Also ... what ecu are you using ?

Thanks for the help

Currently I have a T4oE 60-1 T4 P-Trim .68 AR it's basically comparison to a GT35R Specs it's rated at 620bhp. It spools well but not a BB.
I'm basically looking at the same power goals from the turbo portion of my setup.
As for tuning, I still have the stock DME with a piggyback AEM FIC. I'm restricted to less power levels right now until I sort out the hardware. My plan is to go ProEFI asap but waiting on them to sort out all the bugs. If I had a plug N play solutions for something else I may consider it. The only problem for me is finding the right tuner. Plus I'm restricted to the stock MAF sensor which I have clamped at 4.9 volts.
I have made a lot of changes to my setup as well cleaned up a lot of the hardware, Basically redesigning everything to look cleaner. I don't update what I'm doing on the forum but for you I can at least tell you I'm running a bigger turbo If all else fails I'll swap in either a M5 motor if not a S54.

you shoule check out the new 6266.. from what ppl claim on evo forum, it is gonna be good.. or the HTA86 from forced-performance has proved itself many times on different EVOs.. they are very efficient, although it may be referring to the efficiency at 30+psi..

You seem pretty handy with electronics to me , wiring up a standalone shouldnt be a porblem to you

Been looking at HTA's aswell, i feel like they are physically bigger than their Precision counterparts (and since space is limited...)
6266 sounds interesting

Actually I probably could wire things up but when it comes to the main brains to run this car I just want someone more experience doing the job.
Or if I have someone to help that has wired their own before and comfortable doing so just assisting would be helpful.

But from the info I have seen, the HTA spools faster than other turbos with the same peak power

Shame you're not running a MS42 or i could give you my wiring schematic for a LINK G4

Figuring out how to run wires is what requires thinking(and help here is nice) , once you have a pinout then all thats left is connecting everything

Well I have all the Pin outs/wiring diagram on what's what and yes it would be nice to follow someone's schematics that have already done it.

Well lately i've been doing some work on the car mostly electrical to keep the stock DME happy, changed my fuelpump aswell as the 340LPH Aeromotive one just failed, no life at all in it , running a walbro GS right now but going to replace it soon(and keep a backup with me at all times , wasnt fun standing in the parking lot of a big carpart store plunging my hands down into a full E85 tank with cuts on my hands..)
Anyways i got this wired up :

Dunno why it sticks at 2 , usually it sticks at 1,2k when the engine is on,i believe this is due to the link not being able to output a small enough signal as it's made to output 1pulse per ignition event(and im running it to the CAS, needing 1 pulse ever other revolution) it has a built in multiplier which im running at 0.17x, gonna ask the link devs if there's any way i can change the output tacho setting.

Also installed ECT wiring, now just to find out why the EML light is on (MDK is wired properly :S)

LSD #1 Seized when tuning the engine

Bosch temp sensor vs oem

Took the car in for an alignment after all the work, rear camber was abit off(well everything was off..)

Got bored so went and bought a 330 M-sport (zhp without the performance)

Turbo shaft play :

PPF have a good Blow Off:

==>

I think the 6262 BB is a really good option for the M54B30, he makes 700+ HP.
or a Garrett GTX 3582.

But the CompTurbo CT4-6262 is also a good alternative.
