I had heat issues with my turbo on top, even though I double raped downpipe, with turbo blanket. coil pack plastic dividers caught on fire, luckily I had a fire extinguisher, I recommend one! . . What mani is that? TCD like mine? I'm curious how you ran the downpipe, does it run into the corner, then drop down? I had a hell of a time getting 3" from the turbo back. it would rub on firewall and mani. I say good luck keeping the heat down!

The DP runs down by #6 header, it's a 3" DP |

Even when mine was top mounted, I had issues blowing the seals, I'm contemplating weather to tap higher than the oil pan, the block below is my car running with no timing sync was off ![]()

The china one was 4" yes , i could just sqeeze some flex turbing on it between the mount and inlet, a silicone hose would never have worked ![]() The adapter is a RUFF one, i bought it from streetpower here in sweden ![]() I cant remember what size restrictor i used ![]() Your car runs great |

Damn that's too bad. Do you think it's a software issue or related to the vanos, are you seeing any voltage from the solenoid?

All i get is either missing pulses or too many pulses in the link error report. But like i said harware is what im focusing on now(fittting m3 brakes in the front and building a topmount + need to find out why my hpf clutch has failed at 1k miles) |

Nice build site read through thread cool I am scared to even work on my car I still need to get fuel injector O rings. and other miscelanious bolt and parts. I then need to kit all my parts with the realoem.com drawings and double check all the parts. I bought a printer just for such a task I just would hate to start a project and not have every part I need.

Car was $10k in 2008 Supercharger was $4k in 2009 New engine(well used one but machnined)+parts... well i've got reciepts of $20k in front of me yet alot of reciepts are missing ![]() Labor is done by me and maby a friend helping out, tuning is done by me aswell |

Need to update you guys abit
![]() So for i've converted the car to M3 front brakes(man what a PITA unless your car has the ASC in the drug bin already) I've torn down the engine to replace the lifters,chestplate and oiltray along with replacing the clutch. Clutch is on the way from HPF (got a stage 2), once it's here ill start to push for the exhaust manifold to be complete , if it isnt by the time the clutch is in already. Some pics : Cost me abit but better to replace all of them ![]() Not how i wanted the engine to sit but since i have no garage at the moment it has to do. Good thing i decided to do this, turns out all the vanos screws were loose ![]() The camshaft bolt that stripped held the cap by itself, maby it was me fearing to damage it that i didn't torque it properly ? My new chestplate ![]() And my IAT sensor adapter ![]() Now I'm waiting on a new oilpan gasket |

Turned some more bolts today , found this :
ATI Dampener has been moved upquite abit on my "to-buy" list... and yes that's the greg oilpump with all of it's bolts hanging on by a few threads(loctited now) |
