Cool...so you'll just swap the compressor covers.

That turbo is really really under-rated by the tuning community, the compressor map is perfect for our engine.

So the HG failed? What mls gasket did you go with? Also what studs were holding down your head? What is the cause to have all these new parts? What broke? I hope this new build goes better! GL!!!! You deserve to have a fun car after all these issues!

After removing the turbo and talking to the machine shop the problem seems to just be that the turbo failed but theres no telling. I got a stock head gasket. and yes the studs were holding.

Oem studs? Did you have stock head gasket before? Good to know the studs are working! GL man, you deserve it. Any roundabout date planned to have this all buttoned back up?

No date but no raceware studs. Today I laid the head on with the manifold already bolted up....wasn't in the mood to finish.

Any in or out videos of your car that show the sound? I was thinking of doing an aggressive exhaust if I do the TT because (I thought) the turbo quieted the car did quite a bit. Are you running the cat?

Yea Clutch masters is a great brand. Take a look at some of the F1 clutches, they are very affordable and i've heard good things about them. I'm sure their is plenty of members here that sport them.

I see nothing wrong with keeping the OEM dual-mass flywheel, and using an aftermarket clutch.

Having owned a couple of light weight flywheels.....it's more of a race part than a street part. If you need to hold a ton of power though, you are kind of limited because most of the high HP multi-plate clutches come with a LWF.

That stage 3 looks good.

yea i agree the dual mass flywheel will be quieter and better for a stock car. But considering his car is fully built with a stage 2 turbo kit, its kinda a race car lol. I dont remember how much the dual mass flywheel weighs, i think around 28-30lbs. The f1 racing one is 15lbs, and you can buy other flywheels that are like 8 lbs, but those are pretty expensive.
