The DME does have some adaptation, but it cant compensate for a 50% reduction in inertia with only a 17% compensation limit. (Just an example)
This is true. But wouldn't a high power aftermarket clutch and flywheel cause problems for a stock car as well if it would with that of a high powered car?

So I've been slacking on this build but I just bought a house so it's been crazy but no more apartment parking lots.

Does anyone know why I have different lifters 12 of each? I can only find one part number but they are clearly different.

Someone replaced 12 at some time. Odd, but a non-issue if they were working before.

Is it possible to put the engine in with the intake manifold and harness on?

Also I really don't want to spend the money on this....

http://store.bimmerworld.com/clutchm...its-p1293.aspx

The stage 3

Is there any other clutches that will be able to hold 400wtq for less money?

I'm not going to recommend a specific product, but I will say that this is one area where a bit of over-kill wouldn't hurt.

My personal choice would be a twin disk of some sort...which will more than double what I think you are looking at spending.
