Need Help with Installing a new face gauge

Hey Everyone,
I bought a new S7 face gauge for my 2005 325CI.
I got the old face gauge out with no problem and installed the S7 gauge.
It looks awesome, but I still have one step left. It comes with a control switch and a red and black wire...It says I have to ground the black wire and connect the red wire to the parking light switch. Does anybody have any idea how to access the parking light switch? Or what would be the easiest way to hook it up? I won't have any problem grounding the black wire but I need help finding where to connect the RED wire.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

excuse my stupidity but what gauge are you talking about?

but my guess for the switch would be to pop out the light switch module

Hey, my bad, I should have been more specific...It's an S7 Face Gauge. You're right, I actually just did that before reading your post and I went back on here to ask another question. I took out the parking light switch and there's about 20 wires connected to it. Any Idea which one to splice and connect to? I assume I need a wire that gets power when I turn the car on and not a constant 12v...Any ideas? Also, I read about wire tapping...seems its a safe way to go...no splicing or cutting involved....just need to know which wire to connect to?
