I think a sportsbar for lunch is probably a better idea.

Only problem with Cooperstown....its really effing small. There is one decent restaurant/tavern in town...but the place is just dead all the time. I was thinking about that casino town heading towards rome...what's it called? Like 2 hours from Albany and would be a great GTG spot.

Just a feeler but Turning Stone is not far from Vernon Downs horse track. They have races on Sundays as well.

Forget my previous post, I'm an idiot. Tioga Downs has Sunday races, Vernon does Thursday - Saturday.

Horse races would be awesome. Where is tioga downs? If Saturday's were an option, I'd be down for Vernon in a heartbeat.
You westerly guys...throw out some more ideas.

Grand prix go karts was a sick time.

Mt. Kisco, NY...right on the southern border of upstate NY.

Might be a haul for some.

Tioga Downs is between Binghamton and Elmira. It's on the border of PA in Nichols NY.

All these are great ideas, if that track don't work, we can plan a trip later in the summer at saratoga track, but.we def need one for the western half of the state, seems like cooperstown is the agreement, its a bit of a hike for city drivers, but more time driving is a good thing=)

The city is a bit too far of a drive for me to make, but I'm more than likely moving back to Corning after I graduate in 2 weeks so I'd be game for a meet in Cooperstown.

Are we looking to do something small at the end of every month? Does anyone live close to or have a wealth of knowledge regarding Cooperstown? If not I have a friend who worked on the PD there for two years. I could get some hints tips and suggestions from them.
