Wind Noise, Window too High?

Got my first E46 a few months ago and just started to experience extreme wind noise from the driver side window (This is a sedan, not a coupe). I figured out why: When I roll the window all the way up, it presses against the seal at the top of the door in such a way that it pushes the glass and the seal outward from the door so that the rubber seal sticks out and catches the wind. I thought that maybe the window is going too high, but this doesn't see like something the Germans would let happen. Please help a newbie!

There's not much adjustment in the window regulator, but you can fine tune the window motor to allow it to stop sooner. There is a finite amount of travel in each direction of the motor.

Solved. The window wasn't squared at the top which allowed it to push outside the track on the rear side of the window. It just needed adjusting, which is pretty simple:

Disconnect negative terminal
Remove door panel and vapor barrier being careful with the airbag
Loosen both bolts on the rear window guide rail
Reconnect battery
Roll window all the way down (push it down square if necessary)
Tighten both guide rail bolts

Thats it.
