$400 for suspension. What to get?

I have $400 to get a new suspension component. All I have is the mytle control arms and the HD bushings. What would give me the most bang for my buck? Thanks for your input

I saw those when I was searching for coilover kits and it seems like there just Raceland except there a little stiffer. Do you have any person experience with them? If so how are they?

If I would put springs on with my 80k shocks. I feel like they would fail very quickly. If I were to get a set of koni sports then down the road get some springs would the koni work with the stock springs?

The point I was trying to politely make was brands like Raceland & Rokkor are junk.

When you read through threads like "RaceLand Coilover Review by SL Blak Soldier"
and you start to get near the end, there are a lot of Raceland owners that used to tout how great they were. In some cases they would fight tooth & nail
about their greatness. But now a year or so later, you read posts from those same members saying that they're not so great after all. Comments like "The Rear Is Bouncy", then asking how to fix the problem. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for,....want steak for dinner? Then don't go to McDonalds. I bought & tested Racelands a year & a half ago, they failed in many ways. Including a pathetic warranty.

OP, consider saving your $400, and wait till you have double. With about double you can get into a tried & true suspension like Koni or Bilstein with H&R or Eibach springs. Not to mention a warranty that doesn't try to cheat you.

Yes, a set of just Koni's or Bilstein's would work with your current springs, until you upgraded. But would exceed your $400 budget.

$500 just got me the ZHP upgrade kit. Really just need the shocks but I'll put the control arms in someday.

I end up getting polyurethane subframe and diff bushings.

Buy the $500 ZHP suspension kit + used ZHP/Sport springs - sell ZHP control arm = <$500

Sways. You'd probably feel more improvement than shocks and springs

stupid assumption of raceland owners. from the first post i made comments on the soft rears, replacing the rears with bilstein sports make it a good setup for the money. keep thinking the "you get what you pay for" card, maybe you should try them yourself before talking so much smack on them. o wait, let me stop you before you say something along the lines of "i dont wanna risk my life using these junk coilovers." bottom line dont talk smack on what you havent tried.

although i will agree with you on one thing, 60% of the raceland owners dont know much theyre just intrigued by raceland because of the price. thats where people with the actual common knowledge come in and fix their mistakes, like you and i lol
