2005 BMW 325xi Sedan
Hey guys,
Been lurking for a few months, decided I'd finally post. A little about me: My name is Joe Deel, I'm 21, just moved up to Exton PA (near philly) from MD almost 2 years ago. Bought my 325xi back in mid-March, and I've been loving it ever since! One previous owner, was an old lady who traded it in for a C-Class. ![]() It's in pretty good condition except for a minor scuff on the front bumper. It was at 98k miles when I bought it, now at 101k. I don't know too much about the history of the car, other than what I can tell from looking at it. The water pump was replaced when I bought it and I believe the expansion tank was also recently replaced. The dealership also put on new brake pads and rotors on all around when I bought it, with new tires as well. I have a sneaking suspicion that they may not have changed the oil when I bought it (like they said they did) or maybe they mixed brands of oil or something, as the oil life read 12k and some change when I bought it. To my understanding it should be right around 15k. I haven't done much to it so far. Still looking at maintenance items and what not. I really need to learn up on what I'm doing. I'm still pretty dumb when it comes to cars. That's why I'm here! Mod wise, I've installed clear corners all around, an ECIS CAI (my buddy convinced me it was necessary ), 20mm wheel spacers on the rear, and made my own woofer with dual 12"s. Not usually a heavy bass kind of guy, but I now realize what a beautiful thing it is . I ran a switch up to the front under the steering column to turn it on and off, but I just leave it on most of the time.So anyway, here are some pictures! They're from a few weeks ago from The Great Pollen Storm of '11. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Up next mod-wise, Ima do 6000k HID headlights, matching angel eyes and fogs, new headlight lenses (current ones look like someone used some kind of abrasive cleaner and wore them down a bit, weird), B/W roundels maybe carbon fiber, license plate holder delete thing, maybe a new exhaust one day and maybe the shark injector! Who knows? Constructive criticism is more than welcome! I thank you guys for the wealth of knowledge you provide! |

Thanks guys haha. No black grills for me, I really dig the original. Though I'm on the lookout for a higher-quality replacement. The original is plastic, and it feels cheap. Any reason why a metal one would be bad?
