Just recently got a 2002 330i with Sport Package. Everything was all good except the scratched up rims and it desperately needed new tires. Went out and bought new Hankook Ventus V12 225/45R17 for front and 245/40R17 for rear. Now all i need is new rims! As i am new to the rim buying world, what size rims do you guys recommend without having to do any mod?
PS: I know it has 17'' stock staggered rims (?) how big (18,19?) could i go and how wide (8, 8.5,9?) Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

We generally recommend an 18x8.5 or 19x8.5 all around on a sedan with offsets ranging from +35mm to +40mm. Sometimes our sedan customers want to run staggered fitment, so you could run an 18x9.5 or 19x9.5 with an offset of +45mm. We also recommend going with a 235 tire up front and a 255 tire in the rear.

With those tires, I would say you can go as big as about... 17" front and 17" rear.
You can't fit a tire on to a different diameter wheel, it's impossible. Last edited by mattbookpro; 05-10-2011 at 03:20 PM. |

You can't use those tires on any wheels larger than 17", so you'll have to run those on an 8.5" - 9" wide wheel.
