That's what I'm working towards! An M3 would be my ideal BMW even with vehicles moving more toward diesel.

He's located right in MB on the Sepulveda section of PCH, kind of a green and yellow building next to Skechers I believe....specializes in Porsche and BMW.

He may not be the cheapest specialist in town but he knows his sh!t. He is also one of those guys that believes if you have the money to buy the car, then you should have it to maintain it as well. Having said that, he can come across kind of "snotty" for lack of a better word, but he is honestly just giving you the straight deal when talking about maintenance. I personally find it refreshing that he does this....plus he warms up to ya after a visit or two! He will never try to "up sell" service unless he identifies something severely wrong with your car...meaning he will rate the seriousness if there is an issue and he advises either to take care of it, or handle it later. I haven't taken my M3 or my old 330 anywhere else since I moved out here.

Also, he endorses DIY stuff...basically told me the last time I was in there about my RTAB's being worn out and said if I could DIY them, then to do so....not too many shop owners (that I know of), would turn away work. I don't think a stealership would dare tell anyone this.

I'll admit, it's a fun car but maintenance can get pricey...if you think your parts are expensive, then add 10-25% more just because of that damn "M" But it makes me feel like this

That is definitely a thorough review, THANKS! I'll be giving the DIY's a shot for sure. I'll thank you all, in advance, for your help.

As for the M3, I can't afford one right now, but maybe in 10 years. Haha. Until then, I'll be "working towards" one. Once I get one, I'll feel too!

There ya go, a little In N Out to go with a meet. Maybe a Jamba Juice or YL to finish off the night.

In N Out is a good plan. If we get big, that'd be awesome. If not, I know that off Hawthorne and Sepulveda (where Mervyn's used to be and Chili's is) the Camaro5 club uses that parking lot on occasion since it's almost always empty. Just an idea for the future.

Thursday, June 2nd, 7:30p at In N Out, Torrance Crossroads....we good?
