Forged CP Pistons for S54 12:1

A have a brand new, in-box set of CP Pistons for S54.
They were custom made for my 2003 M3, that was
going to be rebuilt by Epic Motorsports in Miami. Engine was
too far damaged so Randy at Epic just bought me a new engine,
but he had already ordered these pistons.

Forged CP S54 Pistons, 12:1 compression ratio, 87.249 mm bore,
with dry film lubricant on the skirts.

I paid $1198 for the pistons and $250 for the DFL Coating on
the skirts. I'll take $1000 or bro for them.

Let me not fail to give kudos to Randy at Epic for doing a great
job on my M3.

Bro

I suppose if someone needed them anyway a 30% discount would
be a gift (that would be the $1000 range). Something near that.
Randy at Epic is hanging on to them as it's likely that at some point
in the next few months he'll have another customer that could use
them. Still waiting on the pics from him. You can send me a private
message if you'd like to make an offer.

Check your original post. Just poking a little fun at a typo, nothing more. Lol.

The term should be "OBO" - Or best offer.

Hi,

Are these still available please ?

Can you confirm if the Pistons are for std
Rod length, 139mm or Long rod ?

If they are availabe, would you be willing
to ship to the UK ?

Wait to hear back from you.

Many thanks

Regards,

The Gorilla.

CP pistons

Yes they are still available and I have no problem in theory with
shipping to the UK, as long as the payment/shipping/duties thing
is all sorted out ahead of time. I believe it's a standard
rod but let me check with Randy who still has them at his shop
in Miami.

Yes, Randy says the rod length is 139mm. Let me know if you want me to investigate shipping, etc.

Though it's been a long time, these pistons are still available.
Been a tad busy.

Probably a stupid question but why didn't you use them in the new engine Randy purchased for you? Or did Randy just buy a stock engine that you installed.

As you guessed he thought he could re-build my engine but when he opened it up he found the
block unsalvagable. He'd already ordered the pistons. So , he just dropped in a slightly
modified engine he got used and we decided not to rebuild the new (used) one.

I may be interested in them. I have a S54 in my shop now. Don't know if it will require pistons etc or if I can just do minor work. I just happened to be doing what ifs and this popped up in my search. I'm surprised no nne has bought them in 2 years.
