Question Dinan Air filter cleaning?? HELP!!

I have a 2005 Dinan3 and I need to clean my air filter. What kit do I need to buy? And whats the proper way to clean it? Thanks!!

i would replace the filter because if you oil it chances are the maf sensor could break and thats like a $400 piece

Ya that wouldnt be good at all. A replacement filer is like $70 so ill prolly just do that. Thanks!

Usually the oil will build up and you'll just have to get some CRC MAF Cleaner and spray it out. But yes, new OEM mass air flows are ridiculously priced, but some aftermarkets can be had for around $150

I dont know if your talking about an entire new CAI, but a replacement filter for the Dinan intake I have is only $70?

Follow instructions


*Note: Dinan air filters are no special from other reusable filters like K&N, AEM, etc. In fact, it's probably a K&N.

See above post, I was referring to a MAF sensor not air filter

BTW, replacement cone air filter from ebay are even cheaper @ around $15-20/shipped. Does the same exact stuff w/o the fancy name

OP, buy a K&N filter cleaning kit from Autozone for around $12. Easiest DIY you can possibly do other than smoked corners

Wow I had no idea it was as easy as just buying the K&N kit. I would definitely rather just clean it then having to replace it!
