Koni Sport With Springs

I've done some searching on here and bimmerforums to see if anyone is running Koni Sport struts and lowering springs. Looking for a small drop. Not huge. Just to eliminate wheel gap. Something to look like this

Is it possible to obtain this height with sport shocks/struts and springs?

I have some koni yellow shocks and H&R race springs for sale. The front drop is a tad bit higher than the pic and the rear is adjustable.

Turner sells a rear height adjustment kit. It's essentially the spring seats from the H&R coilover kit. All it really allows is to raise the car from the height of the spring.

I believe my H&R spring kit comes with different rear springs than the normal race kit. Without the adjusters I was so low in the rear that my rim was touching the rear fenders...

It looked like I had 3 fat chicks in the back

Weird. My rear is a little too high for my liking. It's higher than the front

For the best of all worlds get the Koni Yellows, Ground Control Coilover collars and Eibach springs to match. You get adjustable height, adjustable spring rates, adjustable damening, etc. and the list goes on.

Im trying to save some $$$ instead of buying a coilover kit only because its the same drop basically only thing different is that you cant adjust on some.

I did save some major $$$ and picked the Koni's up at ModBargains for $630 and the GC Coil kit and springs for $250 on ebay, unused. I was on the lookout for about three months before I found the GC kit. I'm just saying that for the price of springs deals like this are out there.

Im on koni yellows and H&R race and 18's. in the rear if i spaced my wheels out like that i would rub for sure. I would need some good fender rolling to have that exact stance, so yeah, im that low.

Yep, that would be it. From time to time someone on here or ebay will sell them for around $300 new because they didn't use them. You've got to make sure they're for Koni's though.

Did you get the GC Konis or the standard ones? Any modifications as they state on the website that you had to do if you went with the standard Konis?

Would love to see some pics
