Last night wasn't a huge turn out, but whatever, we have fun and got into some very...uhm...unique conversations. Overall, I'm really glad I went and I'm glad people made it out. Thanks for a pretty good night (the cold sucked).
The people make the event-any event-but you can't help but wonder the underlying premise of a car meet is to see a few new and interesting cars. And it wasn't even a "few" or "several" people, it was literally a handful; and apparently, I'm not the only one who thought so. I didn't even see you or Kevin or Norman there, and if I really just wanted to round up some fanatics just to hang out, I can always just call...

That said, I didn't say I had a terrible time, just nothing I'd get out of my way for if the turnout is consistent with what I saw.

No worries bud. I wasn't there because I was out of town for work. Travel + being paid = worth it. Kevin works nights now (as far as I know), so he hasn't made a meet since the summer. I don't know about Norman.

As for seeing new cars, I don't think you'll see many 'new' at any meet once the market has been cornered so-to-speak. But I understand your feelings.

I attend the 310 & 562 so that I can talk cars with good people. It's a pretty good reason for me head out of the house after work. To each their own though; that's why we're individuals. You're always welcome at our meets, regardless.

I wish a happy new year to ya bud.

Sense. These posts make none.

1. What I meant by "new" was new faces, new cars, new owners-new in the sense that I've never met them before. They could have a classic car but if I've never met them before, they're still "new" to me. Nothing to do with the age of the car.

2. Sorry Tommy, many people write more than just one sentence per post. It is in no way an emotional indicator. You like to post one (broken) sentence at a time; that is your style. I write more fluidly.

I will try harder next time my friend. Just to lazy. Sometime I dont even capalized , nor put period @ the end of my sentences. Need to find a faster way to bring up my post count.

Haha, I wasn't referring to the age of the car either. What I meant was those that are going to make meets, make 'em. Those that don't, don't. So there's a really good chance that every meet will be the same people. To my knowledge, we're not really different than any other meet, just a tad smaller.

Either way bud, it's not like I hate you for having your own opinion. It's quite the opposite. If and when you feel like making it back out, we'll be glad to have ya and I'll be glad to hang out with you again.
