Its beef/chicken/lamb or mixed with spices such as coriander, cumin, onions, cayenne, chillis made into a patty and grilled or baked. Indians/Pakistanis/Arabs have a tendency to think that meat is only good when mixed with ingredients and also helps in digesting it.

These Kabobs are also, AMAZING. Sheesh Kabobs

and Tandoori Chicken

Bulgarian Tarator - Cold Yogurt Cucumber Soup

Tarator, a cold cucumber soup is a refreshing summertime treat. Its preparation is similar to that of mlechna salata. A deliciously light salad soup that will fill you up without weighing you down.

Ingredients
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 cucumbers, peeled and chopped (or grated)
1 garlic clove, minced shopping list
4 c. plain yogurt
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbs. dill, chopped
2 tsp. oil
finely chopped walnuts

How to make it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mash the garlic with salt and then add to it grated or finely chopped cucumber.
Add these to a large bowl and pour in the yogurt.
Gradually add water - the thickness is down to taste and also depends on how flavorful the yogurt you are using is.
Add additional salt to taste.
Add finely chopped walnuts and fresh dill as well as a couple of tea spoons of oil (sunflower or olive oil is typically used).
Best if refrigerated at least two hours before serving to allow flavors to mix.
Serve chilled.

this seems more like a thread that should be called "ugly cultural foods that look gross but taste good" cmon guys chicken feet? chicken hearts? porky stew? pork hearts? sausage? this thread looks 90% unappetizing.
