Here's the thing...they'd have to use stuff that would be out of their system by six weeks out. So even if they used short acting drugs that leave your system quickly, they'd have to stop usage like 3 months from the games. Plus they'd be doing post cycle therapy (ie not feeling awesome) for a while from approximately -3 months to -2 months.

Additionally, they might test for post-cycle agents, so you might have to get off cycle maybe 4-5 months out.

Not impossible but sure as hell not something I'd advocate.

I'd actually think its easier for the athlete to do shorter cycles...if you do 46 weeks of anything, you literally won't remember what it feels like to be natural.

Hell, I live in a different city 46 weeks ago and it feels like a different lifetime.

so do you think they are clean then since it may be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

Well it leaves a number of options:
1) they're clean
2) the tests are a joke
3) they're using things not tested for (GH)

These are more or less the style of workouts I do now with less running. The lack of strength progression regular CF has is what annoys the hell out of me.

this falls into the same category as the massively obese who try some new "diet" and lose "20-30 lbs" in a month, and try and get you to go on it.

guys, don't feel like reading through 12 pages. Crossfit gym opened nearby. Worth trying for a month? I'm out of shape and want to try something new and fun, gym is boring me

What one is it? There are good ones and there are bad ones. Post a link to this site and I will look at their programming and let you know what I think of them.

Definitely worth trying. If you're out of shape you'll definitely get in better shape by doing it. Just know you'll probably work out harder than you ever have. As long as it's a good box
