Front drivers side suspen. Is making creaking noises! Plz help! :/

It recently just started getting louder and louder and now it's time to resolve this issue. It only makes the creaking noise on moderately slow stops. But it's such an annoying sound that I need to fix it! It's really hard for me to diagnose the problem myself because it happens when I'm on the go. What could this by? The control arm? I just recently replaced the bushings that tend to go out after like 75k. My car (05 330 Zhp) shh!

Any help will be really helpful! I'm pretty knowledgable so I hope I can fix this with the right guidence!

THANKS FELLOW E46FANATIC!!!

My Ride: parting out...=(
You NEED to inspect the ball joints on that side, check the lower control arm bushing, push up and down on each front fender one at a time and see if you notice more play on the creaky side from the shock when the car bounces back, and the best check you can do is jack up that side of your car and grab your tire and try pulling the wheel towards you and then also pull the wheel towards the front of the car. What you are looking for on that last check is play in the lca and lcab. If those are good the wheel wont move, but if you are able at all to move the wheel back and forth you can bet the bushing is no good. Good luck.

Definitely do the check jetblackmaverick suggested.

Is it only when turning? Is it anything like the videos in this thread? That could be the infamous "pirate ship" creaking - plenty of threads and info on that. No one seems to have found a definitive answer, but control arm bushings or ball joints seem to be a common culprit.

Ive replaced both control arm bushings on both sides about 1k ago. The noise only happens when I'm coming to a slow stop maybe a little to aggressive stop but the creaking noise just sounds like a metal to metal sound. I have to get under there and make sure the bushings are good. And it is not the clattering and the loose feelings of the bushings going out. It's a creaking sound.

I tested out the "pirate ship" theory and it makes minimal noise when I turn the wheel. I'm just wondering what part it could be so I can repair it myself. A post above said the sway bar? Does that sound right?

Prime suspects are control arm ball joints, tierod joints, strut mount bearing and the strut itself.

So basically expensive to fix. I do all the work on my car my self. So I'll check those parts on my car and see who the culprit is.
