My new baby

Just got it like two weeks ago. It's a 1999 328i. I'm not really sure what to do to it, any advice?

Some clear lenses and LED angel eyes would be a good start. Then maybe a set of 18 or 19 inch wheels and suspension.

On a 12-year old car, maintenance would be a good place to start.

Your post was probably a question on "mods", but you'll enjoy the car more if it doesn't quit on you.

Don't follow the mistakes some have made of making their car look pretty first, then call it names when it breaks down.

Make sure all the components are in good shape and replace those that aren't. After that you can look into a nice lip, clear corners, rims, and maybe some coil overs. Congrats the car!

Everyone else is correct, make sure all your maintenance is up to date first. Afterwards you can worry about cosmetic and performance upgrades.

Thanks for your input guys. I worked hard and it feels good to have it as a first car. I was lucky because the previous owner took good care of his car but I will save my money just in case something happens to her.

before ANY mods please do preventive maintenance. A BMW is only as good as you maintain it, and trust me they like to get babied or they will kick you right in the ass when you least expect it.

Here's a good maintenance schedule to follow. Other than that, have a reputable shop inspect it and go from there. There are plenty of nice DIY threads to follow so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on maintenance.
