FREE: MTech 1 Bumper and Trim (some damage)

If anyone wants to pick up my MTech 1 sedan front bumper (sapphire black) before trash day next Thursday it's a freebie. It has significant scuffs on the bottom from a past life and a 1.5" tear where my wife pulled it off on a curb underneath (was my motivation to go Mtech2)...all not visible from front. A couple tabs are broken but it should still mount up. I'll toss in the painted fog bezels/mounts/brake ducts/grill.

Sorry no pics. Imagine ugly on bottom and normal 80k wear up front.

OEM bumper BTW. A decent paint shop would be able to make it look new since the underside could use some glaze.

Wow, really wish you were local. I would definitely buy this. Are the grills facelift by any chance? If so I will buy them from you (if not many of the tabs are broken)

I'm talking about the grill in the MTech bumper, not the kidney grills. It is undamaged.

Still have it. If nobody local comes by I'll pack up the ducts cheap to ship. I won't ship the bumper unless somebody wants to pay me some $$ for that nightmare.

I'll do $20 + ship on the ducts if someone really wants them. Maybe $50 + actual shipping if someone wants the bumper. I'd rather sell local but if I make a few bucks I'll take the time to pack things.

Where did you get your new bumper from? Any fitting issues?

Got an OEM unit from thebmwpartstore.com

Fit was perfect, see pics on my other thread. Too many horror stories out there to go aftermarket on this.

What else did you have to buy in order to install correctly and where did you get it from? I have to change my MTech 1 front bumper soon too. It got scratched by huge attacking dogs... Your car looks awesome now with the new bumper!!!

The main things (off the top of my head)

- bumper (duh)
- m3 style fogs if you don't have them
- fog trims
- older style mounting clips
- MTech2 brake ducts
- different center duct
- several new plastic push pins
- i bought a new front seal (mine was crispy)

It's a good parts list, but worth it for the upgrade. Of course my wife popped our Mtech 1 off on a parking curb so that added motivation to get this done.
